CORPORATE INFORMATION ESR Group Limited (the “Company”) was incorporated and registered as an exempted company with limited liability in the Cayman Islands under the Cayman Companies Law on 14 June 2011. The registered office of the Company is Walkers Corporate Limited, 190 Elgin Avenue, George Town, Grand Cayman KY1-9008, Cayman Islands. The Hong Kong office is located at Suites 2905–06, Two Exchange Square, 8 Connaught Place, Central. The Company and its subsidiaries (together, the “Group”) are principally engaged in logistics real estate development, leasing, management and fund management platforms in the Asia Pacific region. 2.1 BASIS OF PREPARATION The interim condensed consolidated financial information for the six months ended 30 June 2024 has been prepared in accordance with International Accounting Standard (“IAS”) 34 Interim Financial Reporting issued by the International Accounting Standards Board. They have been prepared under the historical cost convention, except for investment properties, financial assets at fair value through other comprehensive income, financial assets and liabilities at fair value through profit or loss, and financial derivative assets and liabilities which have been measured at fair value. Non-current assets and disposal group held for sale are stated at the lower of its carrying amount and fair value less cost to sell. These financial statements are presented in US dollars (“US$”), with values rounded to nearest thousand except when otherwise indicated. The interim condensed consolidated financial information does not include all the information and disclosures required in the annual financial statements, and should be read in conjunction with the Group’s annual consolidated financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2023. 2.2 CHANGES IN ACCOUNTING POLICIES AND DISCLOSURES The accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the condensed consolidated financial information are consistent with those applied in the preparation of the Group’s annual consolidated financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2023, except for the adoption of the following new and revised International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRSs”) for the first time for the current period’s financial information.
